Athena Pro Balance is a powered water-soluble pH up for the professional cultivator design specifically for use with advanced fertigation systems like Dosatron and Netaflex. Athena Pro Balance allows the grower to customize the strength of their pH adjustment to their unique situation. Pro Balance concentrate may be mixed at a rate of 0.25 1 lb. per gallon. Adjust the mix rate and injection rate depending on the amount of pH adjustment required.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Always wear protective gear when handling. Mix as a concentrate at 0.25 - 1 lb. per gallon (40 - 120 grams per liter) in clean water. Dose as needed to raise fertilizer solution to target pH. Calibrate your pH meter before measuring for best accuracy. Mixing Pro Balance causes a thermal reaction that heats the solution while mixing. Allow time to fully mix and cool before using concentrate.
Hand Mixing
Put 4 gallons of water in a 5 gallon bucket. Pour Pour a 2 lb package of Pro Balance into 4 gallons of water ( lb per gallon).
Mix until granules are completely solubilized.
Test Add Pro Balance at 5 ml per gallon increments in a batch tank prepared with your fi nal fertilizer mix.
Mix thoroughly and check the pH after each adjustment.
Record the amount of Pro Balance concentrate used to reach your desired pH level for that batch tank. For future batch tanks, add this amount prior to mixing fertilizers.
Dosatron Procedure
It's easy to tailor Pro Balance using Dosatron systems. This lets growers with varying pH start water to customize the level of pH up used for their situation.
Fill approximately 20 gallons of water in a 55 gallon drum.
Pour (2) 5 lb pouches of Pro Balance in the water ( lb to a gallon).
Mix until all granules are completely solubilized.
Set the Dosatron unit dilution rate for Pro
Balance to the middle of range.
Activate all fertilizer parts plus the Pro Balance doser and run to waste
Monitor Examine your pH and EC meter to adjust dosers for your desired EC value.
Add Add more RO water while mixing to dilute the
Pro Balance stock tank to reach the desired pH level.
Adjust Fine tune the pH adjustment with the Dosatron unit as needed.
