How to test Resin-XS with an existing nutrient regime?
For any nutrient schedule, Resin-XS replaces all “finishers”, PK additives, bloom boosters or resin enhancers. Generally use Resin-XS at 2m/L (8ml/Gal) from Bloom Week-1 through to harvest and apply at every watering. This dose rate will yield EC 0.3mS, hence you might need to remove an existing PK additive or bloom booster from the schedule to make room for this extra EC. Note, improved yields are usually obtained by increasing usage to 3-4ml/L (11-15ml/Gal) from Bloom Week-5 to 8 (mid to late bloom).
With Resin-XS, within a few weeks you should notice increased frosting, potency, swell and density. Unlike alternative products, Resin-XS runs as clean as salts and contains nil PGRs. It will also offset the negative impact of PGRs – if they are being used.
Should I be adding *extra* PK additives to the FloraMax feeding schedule during bloom?
No, the PK levels (Phosphorous and Potassium) are optimized with Flowering Enhancer (0-5-3), Resin-XS (0-1-4) and the FloraMax base nutrient (Veg-1 or VegaFlora AB). During mid-to-late bloom, we generally recommend using Resin-XS at 3-4ml/L (11-15ml/Gal). For heavy feeders, 4ml/L (15ml/Gal) generally provides significant improvements in mass yield and terpene profile.
'Purified extracted organics' explained
The chemists at FloraMax have been able to deconstruct popular organic ingredients such as kelp, fulvic acid and guano then isolate specific ‘beneficial’ organic molecules. These are then incorporated into our additives in a purified and potent form. Importantly, this enables their concentrations to be optimized for maximum nutrient effect, with no negative side-effects.
